On Thursday, November 14, 2024, Architects & Design Connect visited the Millard Fuller Foundation. The group, comprising over twenty architects, designers, and other professionals, engaged in a valuable learning experience and site tour. The day commenced with introductions and discussions at Fuller’s headquarters, followed by an insightful tour of various projects developed by the Foundation. This experience provided the guests with a deeper understanding of green, affordable and sustainable housing development as practised by the Millard Fuller Foundation.
Architects & Design Connect began as an online forum where architects and designers could address pressing issues in their professional practice. This initiative has since evolved into organizing live events that focus on education and capacity-building workshops, with the goal of enhancing indigenous capacity among professionals in the built environment.
