The head of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH Skills Development for Youth Employment in Nigeria (SKYE) programme, Hans-Ludwig Bruns, on Wednesday, 13th March  2019 visited the Fuller Training Academy, the training arm of Millard Fuller Foundation, on an inspection tour.

The visit, which was aimed at accessing the work tools and machines, sponsored by the SKYE Programme for the training of artisans, was carried out in the company of Sam Odia, the CEO of Millard Fuller Foundation. The partnership between Fuller Housing Academy and the SKYE programme is to improve the employability of artisans in the construction sector in the area of skills development and upscaling, while increasing the provision of information and advice on opportunities.

The SKYE programme, with its aim of improving income-generating employment opportunities for youth and young adults in Nigeria, promotes need-based technical, vocational education and training in construction, agriculture and other selected sectors. The programme is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft for Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
