As part of efforts to enhance the existing relationship between the Millard Fuller Foundation (Fuller) and the police officers in Luvu Community, MFF paid a working visit to the Luvu Police post on Friday, 13th December 2019.

Led by the Chief Security Officer of Fuller, Michael Ehighalua, the team was received by the officers on duty.

While thanking the police officers for their unalloyed support to Fuller over the years, the CSO noted that the foundation would not have enjoyed the relative peace needed to work in Luvu Community if not for the cooperation of the police, who were constantly working round the clock at ensuring that the community remained peaceful.

In response, one of the policemen, Corporal Danlami Mayaki, thanked the Fuller team for their visit. He noted that it was the job of the police to ensure that the community was in relative peace. He further thanked Fuller and its entire staff for making the job of policing easy for them as they have not any misunderstanding with either the organisation or its workers.

In conclusion, he urged Fuller not to relent in their task of providing truly affordable homes to Nigerians, as this will help in reducing the growing rate of crime in the country.
